Dating violence - Abuse abounds in today’s teenage relationships

Angela Bolen said she never got “the talk” from her mother about sex, drugs, or teen dating violence that some parents dread or try to avoid altogether from having with their children.
“She never did,” Bolen said. “I figured out that it was because her parents didn’t do it with her and she passed it on like that, but I was determined that my kids were not going to be dumb. I was going to talk to them about everything.”
